Getting WooCommerce Product Video Gallery up and running takes less than two minutes. Follow these simple steps to install, activate, and configure the core settings.

Minimum System Requirements #

Before installing, ensure your site meets the following requirements:

  • WordPress: 6.0 or higher

  • WooCommerce: 8.0 or higher

  • PHP: 7.4 or higher (PHP 8.x recommended)

  • PHP Extensions: cURL and JSON enabled

Step 1: Plugin Installation #

You can install the plugin either via the WordPress Admin Dashboard or manually via FTP.

Method A: Via WordPress Admin (Recommended) #

  1. Log in to your WordPress Admin Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.

  3. Click Choose File and select the plugin zip file (woocommerce-product-video-gallery.zip).

  4. Click Install Now.

  5. Once uploaded, click Activate Plugin.

Method B: Via FTP / File Manager #

  1. Unzip the woocommerce-product-video-gallery.zip file on your computer.

  2. Connect to your server using an FTP client (e.g., FileZilla).

  3. Upload the unzipped folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.

  4. Go to WordPress Admin → Plugins → Installed Plugins and click Activate under WooCommerce Product Video Gallery.

Step 2: License Activation (Pro Version) #

If you are using the Pro version, activate your license key to receive automatic updates and support:

  1. Go to  Video Gallery → License.

  2. Enter your License Key (provided in your purchase confirmation email or account dashboard at sharabindu.com).

  3. Click Save & Activate License.

Step 3: Quick Setup & Configuration #

Configure the plugin settings to match your theme layout:

  1. In your WordPress Dashboard, go to  Video Gallery.

  2. Gallery Layout: Select your preferred thumbnail position (Vertical Left, Vertical Right, or Horizontal Bottom).

  3. Autoplay Settings: Enable or disable video autoplay on product page load (Note: most browsers require videos to be muted for autoplay).

  4. Lightbox Options: Enable the popup lightbox player for full-screen video viewing.

  5. Shop Page Play Icon: Enable play buttons on category/archive page thumbnails.

  6. Click Save Changes.

Step 4: Verification Check #

To confirm everything is functioning correctly:

  1. Open any existing product in Products → All Products → Edit.

  2. Look for the Product Video Gallery meta box in the sidebar or below the Product Data section.

  3. Add a test video URL (YouTube, Vimeo, or MP4) and click Update.

  4. View the product on the frontend to verify the video slider and player load properly.
